Lt Gen (Dr.) N S Malik , PVSM

Ph.D.-Defense Studies, M.sc - Defense Studies

Lt. Gen. Dr. N S Malik, PVSM retired as Deputy Chief of the Army Staff after 38 years of distinguished service.

He has trained and certified more than 70,000 individuals in life saving skills. Presently, Gen Malik is associated with NGO’s working in Education & Health sectors in rural areas.
Brig Narayan Malik


Brig Narayan Malik (retd), is an alumnus of National Defence Academy and was commissioned in the famous Rajputana Rifles Regiment in 1964. He participated in 1965, 1971 and the Kargil War and won gallantry award in counter insurgency operations in Nagaland. He holds the unique distinction of having served in Cabinet Secretariat on two separate occasions, including R&AW. After doing a stint as CEO of a Shipping Company on retirement, he has devoted himself to social service by way of training various categories of people in First Aid, Disaster Management Life Saving, Leadership and School Management and Social activities. He is credited to have trained nearly 40,000 persons in First Aid and Life Saving ever since the preparations for 2010 Commonwealth Games began. Although there is a vast list of accomplishes, the activities have been spread, inter-alia, to Schools, Industries and Hotels etc. A large number of drivers, transport managers and Lines Men have also undergone training under him. He received his First Aid Master Trainer Certificate at the National Sports University, Gwalior.
Brigadier (DR.) R.B. Sharma,VSM

Ph.D. (History), M.Ed. .

Commissioned in the Indian Army in 1962, Dr. Sharma worked in the field of Human Resource Development including on the faculties of several prestigious officers’ training institutions; some of them affiliated to the Dr. Hari Singh Gour University Sagar and the Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi. He served as Principal of Army Educational Corps Training College & Centre Pachmarhi (M.P.), an Autonomous College. His specific area of work comprises personality and skills development.

Brigadier Sharma has been a regular contributor to journals and magazines on human resource development subjects. A couple of his books too have been published. Presently, Brigadier Sharma serves as Member of Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO.

Life Guard Trainer Course – RLSS, Perth, Australia

Prof Sanjeev Sharma is the Founder Director of Institute of Professional Life Guards. He has more than 10 years of experience in training people in First Aid & Life Saving Skills. He has trained 10,000 individuals in First Aid [including RIMC (Rashtriya Indian Military College), SIMS business school, Indian Army, Army Public School (North Zone, India), NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra) and Ministry of Tourism], 28 workers of Dee Development Pvt. Ltd. He has given Life Guard training to 1000 learners (including life guards of American Embassy School and German Embassy School, Oberoi Hotels).
